Every year, RareDIG McGill partners up with the Canadian Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) to give the opportunity to medical students to write reports for its database, which are reviewed by a medical expert reviewer and published on the NORD website with acknowledgment to the writer and reviewer. The National Organization for Rare Disorders’ Rare Disease Database contains reports describing different rare diseases, aiming to provide clear and accurate information in patient-friendly language for patients and physicians.
